Garden-Fresh Tomato Basil Garlic Pasta!!

The garden at the Brewster Roadhouse has finally started yielding a TON of veggies!! Check out how I transmogrified 10 tomatoes, some basil, & a few bell peppers into this amazing pile of pasta sure to tickle your tastebros™!!

Check these tomatoes out!  It's been only 78 days since I put the garden in and I'm getting good results!

There are a lot more still on the vines that are nearly ripe, so I've got to make something that is going to use most of these!  So! Pasta it is!

Time to whack them up!

Dice 'em up right quick...

...and throw them into the pot as you go!

How 'bout we grab a handful of sweet basil from the garden as well?!

Rinsed, chopped, and ready to go!

A coupla white onions and a nice bell pepper oughta play nice w/ the rest of the team!

Ah, that's better!

Uh-oh!! Somebody's gettin' a bad case of Hungry Eyes!

"Get in my belly!!"

Haha, caughtcha, big guy!  :)

Back to the show!

Yep, that's a diced purple bell pepper!
Unf, they tend to lose their awesome color when you cook 'em! Oh well!

I like my onion like I like my women:  thin & aromatic!

Let's get this party started, shall we?!

Don't forget your favorite Garlic & Herb Seasoning from Weber!

BAM!

Awwwww yeahhhhhhh!!
We're going international, bitches!
What?! You don't have any Herbes de Provence?!  Well, go get some then!

It isn't a meal if it doesn't have meat in it, right?!?
A pound of Italian sausage oughta do it!

Rough chop it, but don't overdo it!

These veggies are lookin' good! Just another few minutes!

I'd say that's done! Time to assemble the final product!

Stop picking at the sausage and throw it in the pot!

Toss the pasta in there too!

Lookin' good so far!

Now add the sauce and mix it up!

That oughta do it!!
Only thing left to do now is grab a bowl and dig in!
This dish couldn't have gotten any easier and it literally cost me under $3.00 to make!
Even better yet, I made my co-workers jealous as all hell when I muked this for lunch as they were eating their Lean Cuisines!!  Haha!
