Freedom Burgers for the 4th of July!!

So, as we all know, this coming Friday is Independence Day!  To celebrate, I made a bigass batch of Freedom Burgers!!!  Check out how I put 'em together!

Note: shift+click on any image to see it full-size in a new window!

Remember the 100 ft slip-n-slide from last year???
Remember the videos? Or the other videos?? :)
Or the fireworks videos part 1 or part 2?
Check 'em out if you haven't seen them by clicking the links above!

Well, we're makin' it bigger and better this year!
Call me if you wanna come check it out!   :)

Burgers like these aren't gonna make themselves!
Get your shit together, it's time to get burgerin'!!

Tonight's starting lineup... Beef bouillon, Weber Roasted Garlic & Herb Seasoning, McCormick All-American Burger Seasoning, Minced Onion, and Huevos!

Don't forget the Parmesan Cheese & the Italian-style Bread Crumbs!

What with this being the 4th of July and all, we're gonna need a lot of meat because... 'Merica!!

Make a well, then toss your eggs in there!

A coupla handfuls of bread crumb oughta do 'er!

Now, hit it w/ the rest of the seasonings!
Keep in mind that this is 10 lbs of meat, so season liberally!

Don't forget the Parmesan cheese and the beef bouillon!

Mix that shit up, B!  :]

Mmm.... burgerrrr!

Make sure that it is well-mixed without over-doing it!

Once the burger meat is convinced of your good intentions, start bangin' out them burgs, yo!

Time is working against you when you make burgers!
You've got to hustle it or the meat will get warm before you're done!

From this batch, I got 23 burgers just shy of half a lb each!

Bagged & tagged & ready for the freezerator!
These oughta be awesome for the 4th..... but aren't I missing something?!

Hell no! I've got plenty of FW right here!!

Matt (the Champ) and I got the biggest, baddest mortars we could find!

My pyrotechnic connection, Ronnie Babbie, hooked me up w the Dark Horse as freebie for making the trip out to see him!  Woot!

Here's a pic of the back of the box!

As you can see, there are mortars with one, two, and three "breaks" (bangs)!
Just in case 3 dozen isn't enough, I still have another 2 dozen stoached away from last year... y'know.. just in case!!
So, as it turns out, I'm having a shindig on the 4th!!
I'll be setting up the 100 ft long slip-n-slide & grilling it up all day long!
I've tons of meat and beer, so please bring fryable food or a bottle to pass!
Shoot me a text if you wanna come out to hang!

I'd like to wish everyone a HAPPY & SAFE INDEPENDENCE DAY!

As they say, freedom isn't free.  Far too many of our troops have have given their lives for the sake of this great nation. Regardless of your political views or stance on foreign policy, as citizens, we should never take our freedom, nor the members of our great military, for granted.

On behalf of myself and the rest of the Detroit BFC Crew, I would like to express our gratitude and support to all of this country's great servicemen & women and veterans!
